Giving to the General Fund. AfricaGiving was birthed out of the desire to help African non-profits access funding from individuals who wish to contribute to meaningful change on the continent. We noted that one of the biggest pain points for African non-profits is access to funding to sustain the great work they do in societies. Coincidentally, we noticed the rising middle class and millennials with the desire to support various causes on the continent. Hence, the ground-breaking fundraising online platform was launched in 2023 to bridge individual givers and non-profits.
